May Forest Church

Photos from our monthly gathering

Alison led a time of reflection and worship. She would like to thank Anthony from “Church Without Walls” in Wigtown for his inspiration and contribution from a distance!

This was followed with Mark teaching those who gathered a lovely Taize chant.

We were joined by Sarah from Asheiri and are very grateful for her brilliant contributions. Gloria also contributed a poem.

Pictures speak louder than words sometimes so here is a wee gallery. Perhaps we will see you in June!

and for those who were unable to make it, here is a taster.

As I sat in the coolness of the morning

I heard the birds sing an ancient song,

and I wondered

about what is primal in me,

the things most original

that want to be heard.

I cant say for sure what words

the bird was singing

but somehow

I know what it knows:

That the world is good and broken

That even in the darkness

there is something worth singing about.
