It sounds like an epic place to have an adventure, but how many people know about the plans to work with the greenspace around Mountainhall?
Quartz is involved with the space around Mountainhall Treatment centre as a result of our decision to take working with creation seriously. It is a “green” space and a little wild. It is also really accessible due to it’s location, if not its terrain. Growing up in Glasgow the experience of unmanaged green spaces I could walk to was vital to me.
It is where (other) kids built massive quarter pipes for BMX stunts. We built dens, and tried to dig our way into the foundations of ruined buildings.
We will be exploring the paths and ways of the greenspace this Sunday on our way to gather for Forest Church.
