Faith and Art
Saturday the 26th of September
The latest event “Faith and Art” workshop will be hosted by Dumfries Baptist Church on Saturday the 26th of August.

Previously we reflected on the glass art in their building. We will use the hammered metal cross forged by Nathan Robinson of Nate’s Forge as inspiration. To gain an appreciation of the sheer physical effort involved in hand hammering the bars or iron that make up the cross participants will have the opportunity to try smithing first.
Please contact DBC office to book a place.
If you cant make it along to this one, look out for “refined by fire” WSC craft retreats coming soon, in 2027.
If you are unsure about the relationship between faith and art, or are interested in finding the words to discuss your Christian faith with friends and strangers. This is an opportunity to practice in a friendly environment.
