Faith at your fingertips
It probably started when I was young. I was blessed with parents who not only provided me with drawing materials, but also a lifestyle that encouraged me to explore the world through drawing and making. They also were tolerant of my mistakes, and also encouraged me to do better. Most of this has been learned in hindsight of course.
So now when I find gathering at some church services difficult I turn to doodling to help. It helps me participate in the worship, and my doodles become a way of reflecting and engaging, as well as sometimes producing something which might be of interest to others.
So if you see me in a corner of a church building somewhere I am not ignoring what is going on. In fact it is the opposite! I might not be standing to sing but the lyrics are entering my ears and emerging through my pencil. This post is here to add my visual voice to the gatherings.
