Stained Glass
We ran a Faith and Art session in Dumfries Baptist Church. We spent some time contemplating their beautiful glass art.
Participants were then led by Artist Andy Brooke in creating using shards of glass themselves.
These were applied to clear glass using glue.
The discussion of symbolism in the window, and exploration of Faith through arts was a refreshing afternoon. It was accompanied by readings from scripture and pause for reflection
We hope to follow this up with another session. This will draw inspiration from the cross made by blacksmith Nathan Robinson, and be an encounter with refining fire!
