This week saw the birth of the newest St Michael work of art in Dumfries.
Having completed this stage of her sculpture, artist Ildiko Malavecz brought it out through the church doors and into the town.
She was accompanied by St Johns folk and wider community members. These included Access Art members who had made their own angels and dragons as well as St Michaels church folk ready to receive it.
